Sandra originally from the Toronto, Canada area. Moved to Cornwall in 2005 when her husband retired where she discovered a strong and varied art community that consists of both French and English cultures that have found a common ground.
Sandra serves on the board of Directors as President of the Focus Art Association a group that works hard to set up opportunities for all levels of artists to show their work to the community.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Cornwall Cultural Committee, a grass roots group working toward establishing a Center for the Arts in Cornwall.
Studio One Cat Squared was named after a painting that she created in Art College that was done tongue in cheek when studying Abstract Art.  While creating the piece she discovered a new found respect for the Abstract painting movement and realised that abstract art is not as easy as it may seem as it depends a great deal on all the elements of design.
Sandra shows her art in both Canada and the USA
